Last night we gathered for a night of music to celebrate the 40th birthday of our dear @eileenchang04. 2 hours before we left, our boys decided to change the song they were performing, choosing instead to sing something that felt better to them given the events of this week and the state of our world. I have to admit that I have very little hope right now against the apathy of power. Seeing my 10 year-old selecting and singing this song did give me some glimmer of solace. I hope it will for you too.
