if you would of asked me what i was planning on doing for the summer in January i would have responded with work and bowling. while i have been able to do those things i had the great opportunity to go to Miami for a month for a mission trip. i was greeted with amazing students from across the United States to grow in friendship with but ultimately be ministry partners with. it was an absolute joy sharing my faith everyday, and multiple times a day for a month at FIU. i learned a lot about different worldviews and ultimately my love for the Lord deepened. my eyes were opened even more to the need of the gospel to the lost. the Lord was so kind to let me be the hand and feet of His truth. this trip was one of the best decisions i could’ve made for my summer! thank you to everyone who supported me and prayed for and with me for this trip! May we never settle for less than the truth, and may our prayers be great for continued work in the lives of those we encountered. Mark 4:26-29 And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”
