When I'm creating a flat-lay, the most important thing is making sure that all of my content and colors work together. Here is a true behind the scenes of my process. You'll see I often pull more pieces than I need and then lay them all out together to see and feel what makes the most sense. I love the way this flat-lay is minimal and balanced. Later on I played with the welcome bag story and added soap, a candle, teas, and mints - all in the same color story. It would also be fun to experiment by adding greenery, straws or snacks in order maximize the design aesthetic. Photographed on our new Sage Linen. #locustsagelinen
