I felt like we were skiing through one of my paintings yesterday 🥹 It’s funny thinking back to November, when we moved here from Lofoten, to the “south” of Norway (a few hours from Oslo). It was foggy, rainy, and muddy for the first month, and we were not super excited about our decision. But we decided to stay, because we had a weird feeling we were meant to be in this seemingly random place. A place that now holds a special place in our hearts and probably always will. This might sound strange, but I think we somehow knew this sunset and many moments from these past days and weeks were waiting for us if we chose to stick it out. I really believe intuitive pings are our future selves trying to send us love, trying to guide us along. And I think when we send love to our past selves, those were pivotal moments in our lives when we *knew* thing last were going to be ok. And that’s the thing about life: if we only follow our minds, what seems rational, and what other people tell us is a good idea, we miss out on a lot of magic. Our intuition always knows what’s best for us, how often do we listen? How often do we do the thing that doesn’t make sense but feels aligned? How often do we trust? How often do we stay in the fog, unable to see, but trusting that magic is on its way? The older I get the more I listen to knowing beyond knowing, and seek moments of time beyond time.
