Anne Vieux @annevieux ~field_shift~ “~field_shift~” is made of overlapping digital gestures morphing in a moving color field. Perspective is simultaneous in the all over composition of hyper saturated colors. I explore the boundaries of material, gesture, and color by treating light and pixels as fluid mediums in the context of abstract painting. My process starts by scanning holographic paper and manipulating/animating it in software to create a painterly space. It is my goal to slow down the expected experience of the virtual, and speed up perception in painting space.
