Before Paul’s Dolls I organized something called “DOLL DINNER” I felt like I knew sooooo many dolls that didn’t know eachother and I wanted us all to be friends and have sickening girls nights out where we’d dress up, go to fancy restaurants, give housewives shenanigans, spill tea, and most importantly doll the hell out and form a twisted sisterhood. Then Paul Sevigny approached me about starting a night at Paul’s Casablanca. I could’ve just thrown a cuntyyy lil New York party but instead I wanted to take the spirit of what I was doing with our Doll Dinner and give us a dancefloor to go to after we ate. Almost THREE YEARS LATER Paul’s Dolls has evolved into the most sickening weekly NYC has seen in quite a while. I pinch myself every damn week that something that started as a way to bring my doll friends together over some pasta and oysters turned into a safe space for girls gays and theys to be themselves and most importantly HAVE FUN!!!!!!
