As I approach my 42nd bday I always get quite reflective about my life. Honestly, it looks nothing like I thought it would or the way society tells me it should but with each year I grow more and more content with the life that I have. Would I like a partner? Absolutely. I can’t have biological kids but I’ve found that being a auntie is so fulfilling I don’t long for them anymore. And we’ll, I’ve learned I can turn any house into a home whether I own or rent so I’m feeling pretty good there too. I like spending time with me marching to the best of my own drum. So, these old outdated, patriarchal social norms can eat dirt👋🏼. I think I’m going to love this year the best ✨😍
