❤️ Happy 88th Birthday Peter ❤️ * * * Greer and Peter were mad for one another, captured here by Nan at our wedding in 1987. We both knew Peter independently of each other I met him when I was 16 at Stuyvesant Park and Greer and he were instant friends upon her arriving in New York in 1979. It was Peter who introduced Greer and I and was also my best man at our wedding. It took place in March and he passed that November, he was showing signs at the wedding and pushed himself to attend. We both so grateful without him it wouldn’t have been the celebration we dreamt of. * * * Still to this day he is one of the loveliest kindest warmest men I’ve known. All qualities so clearly in his photographs. That’s where he couldn’t hide.
