Last night was the DEBS EPISODE of the young offenders. This is one of my most favourite episodes by far! Head of costume Lara came to me and asked if she could make an African print dress for the show! And of course I was DELIGHTED! After weeks of coming up with a design and being poked with needles ( cause I had many fittings) we came out with a beautiful design. Growing up I never saw anyone like me or who came from the same cultural background as me on Irish television. With this small gesture I hope that I can show that IRELAND IS DIVERSE AND ITS OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT AND BE PROUD OF WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!
