Our garden lights were able to be turned on tonight for the first time. 💛As Robert and I finish yet another home, which is all art and a business to us, please know and try to understand with each house we never take it for granted. With each one it gets harder not easier. With each one, we grow. We challenge ourselves. Outside influences like a pandemic or years back 9/11 and so on play factors into our struggles that we can’t always calculate or plan for. We do however plan to celebrate this new home just like all the others filled with gratitude. Filled with an awareness of the talented people it took to save this 1826 build and bring it up to date. For now I live in the presence with a huge check list to complete which includes a few floors to wrap up. I’m not shy to open some champagne from day to day if a friend stops over or simply offering my electrician that got our lights on, a beer. There are moments in life to celebrate. Build something from start to finish, it’s just good for your soul. Lastly but the most important of my social post (which it’s not like our world needs more posts) but please please know that I’m thinking of all the ones in the world that have less, that are suffering and that may not even have a roof over their heads tonight. 🙏
