Time flies, Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen opened its doors a year ago. A lot has happened: from artworks that colored the futuristic building to fashion shoots by students of ArtEZ and WdKA, and an Amsterdam Fashion Week show. The presentation of highlights from the collection, the goodbye of long-term director Sjarel Ex, the various awards and nominations, and seeing the reflections of the pink Podium of Het Nieuwe Instituut. In the evenings there was fine dining at @restaurantrenilde and Pipilotti Rist had her natural algorithms reflected on the mirrors of the Depot, exchanging the image of the Rotterdam skyline for a nocturnal spectacle. We would like to thank all visitors who were able to take a look behind the scenes of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, and all the artists, creatives and organisations we have collaborated with in this magical first year.
