Thank you, friends! My village is epic. When I do an artist talk, I give three ways being a runner in high school set me up to be an artist. One is the understanding of community and place within (you know, relay races—also comes from being from a town of 1,402 people). Parents, kids, partners, studio visitors, from friends realizing their dreams to telling me what (not) to wear, Bowie, dealers, installers, NYC, Guston, Mom franz...I might be a gushy dork, but I am one who feels deep gratitude for how my people push me to be my best self. 💙🎨🎩💙
