As if the egregious acts of negligence in the #jacksonwatercrisis weren’t enough already, now there is evidence of via text messages that revealed on Monday that former NFL quarterback #BrettFavre and former Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant (R) communicated over an effort to use their state’s welfare funds to help build a new volleyball center at the University of Southern Mississippi. It’s bad enough that elected officials neglect their duties to push and advance an agenda that does not help the communities that they serve. But now #HOF athletes have taken an interest in stealing from the communities that they tout as home. November is our opportunity to start right sizing at least a portion of these acts by voting out officials who do not have our people in mind at all!!!
