3 years ago I was working at Creamfields as the apprentice sound engineer on the DnB stage. I really wanted to go watch Hector but I was told I wasn't allowed. After sulking for a while I was told to go on the food run. On my way down to the artist village, I was having a bit of a moan to my stage's artist liaison about the whole situation haha As I was explaining who I wanted to meet at the main stage he told me Hector was right behind me... I couldn't believe my luck! Nervous as hell I went over & asked if I could have his email & a picture, he was such a gent. He made the conversation all about me, my music & my story. 2 days later he downloaded 'Forgotten' & 'Lost Consequence'. For 2 years he was playing my tracks all around the world without me even knowing When covid hit I reached out to Hector explaining who I was and he stopped me straight away & told me the exact names of the tracks I sent all that time ago, it's mad that he remembered me just from my music! I asked if he wanted to sign them & he snapped them straight up, all we needed was that A-side track... that's when 'Remember When' was created Over the last 2 years, I have watched this EP get played all around the world, on Radio 1 and finally got to watch it played at Creamfields Steel Yard of all places the other week. I cannot thank this guy enough for everything he's done for me over the last few years since we met, from my first release to my first headline show back in February. The release wouldn't have been possible without the amazing Sulta Selects team, so another massive thank you to @sarah__donny & @ameliaamf for getting the release out, you've both been amazing!
