I read somewhere that today is National Kids' Day! A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to read with the children at Freedom School OKC. Camille picked a book on Black History and talked to me about how she loves learning about her history. ⁠ ⁠ The Freedom School really reinforced that our children are our future. This is why we must continue to fight for a free and fair education for our children, fight for an education system that teaches all out history, & creates students that will lead with compassion and not rule through fear.⁠ ⁠ I'm proud to have attended public schools and I'm so grateful I've had you alongside me in the fight to keep public dollars in public schools, maintaining accurate school curriculum, keeping guidance counselors in school and more.
