I had acne when I was growing up. I don’t have photos because I deleted them all in hope it would delete the memories🥺 I ended up going on roaccutane for a few months then stopped because I was having suicidal thoughts and my skin was so raw and peeling. Probably one of the worst experiences of my life. It’s been a journey and a half with my skin but I’m very grateful it’s at a place now where it’s clear and seems to be happy! But 8 times out of 10 that perfect smooth skin we are scrolling past is not their natural skin. It’s easy to hide and pretend your skin is perfect, I do it!! But, we also have to remember, what we see isn’t real.
