5 years ago, I was waiting in my hotel room in Las Vegas to go into @loveislandusa whilst in the middle of a global pandemic, an experience that truly changed my life & parts of who I am as a whole. Not only did I make friends that I consider family, but Love Island changed my whole life trajectory. I’m forever grateful for the experience & everything that it taught me. & unless you’ve gone through it - you will never fully understand. It’s always such an exciting time seeing new islanders on our screens each season, and watching how this show has grown in the magnitude that it has, has been nothing short of amazing. I’m sending so much love to all the new islanders & want to take the time to remind you that these are REAL PEOPLE behind your screens. Perpetuating hate & negativity, truly does have lasting effects on mental health, so please think twice before commenting, as the islanders will see everything eventually.
