It was 1980 and I was 17 when The Bodysnatchers, the band I was in, went on tour with the Specials. It was an absolute maelstrom of craziness. Every night on stage, as the rest of the Specials unleashed their youthful energy, Terry was cool, detached and completely mesmerising. Such a thoughtful and gentle man. You left a huge impression on me as a teenager. So sad you’ve gone too early Terry.
