Have you ever pre toned? Pre toning is like priming a wall before you paint it. When pretoning, we are trying to neutralize the lift of the hair. This will help me achieve a true and predictable result when I apply my desired tone. EXAMPLE: If you lift some one to a level 9 and they are pretty yellow and you want to use a 09B. What happens when you put BLUE on a YELLOW canvas? 🐍GREEN🐍 Now if I pre tone that yellow with 09V for five minutes- I’ll neutralize or soften that yellow. When I put the 09B on for the full processing time, I’ll have a MUCH more predictable result. And yes.
