A look back at Kevin Nakashima’s bedroom (R.I.P. Kevin), in what I believe was the first of the 12 buildings on the Nakashima compound which were designed and constructed by his father. For a few months prior to building this house, the whole family literally lived in a tent on the property. And then George built this absolutely wonderful house. Shot for @tmagazine !
