In a couple of days "A man called Otto" will premiere in New York. It will in many ways be the end of this very strange, sometimes overwhelming and all in all unbelievable adventure a little story I started writing at our kitchen table 10 years ago has gone on. The story was always about family to me, most things I write are. So when the American production started, and everything really started spinning too fast and too big for us, it really meant a lot to Neda and me to have @ritawilson as a guide in all this. Rita is the producer of the movie, and her husband is playing Otto, and their son Truman is playing the younger Otto. And also: Rita wrote and sang "Until your home" (with Sebastian Yatra) for the soundtrack. This was always about family to her, too. You can hear it in her voice when she sings, and when Neda and I met her on set in Pittsburgh the first time family was all she wanted to talk about. I always felt that she understood what story I was trying to tell, more than anyone. She's been many, many things during the production of this movie, but to us she's above all been a friend. So we're really proud of this song, and the full soundtrack (that's out now) by the absolutely amazing Thomas Newman. It's meant the world to Neda and me and our kids to have felt like a small part of all this, the whole way.
