For the last five weeks, I've been missing in action recovering from surgery.
I had the unpleasant experience of staying in the hospital. The only good thing about my aftercare was being high on morphine, as shown in my picture high as a kite đ€Ș
The NHS is falling, and honestly, my experiences, as well as other patients while staying at St Maryâs hospital, was a mess!
I get that nurses and ward staff are overworked and underpaid, but you are in a profession that demands care, compassion and patience and understanding
Above all.
There were a few fantastic staff, but a few amongst many is just not good enough.
During my stay, various things pushed my limits, and I decided for the benefit of my mental health and recovery, it was time to get my discharge papers, as any longer on the ward, I would have lost my shit.
It was time to get out of here.
Itâs unfortunate! You get a sense that some of them donât want to be there.. my advice is then donât!
Home is where the heart is, and I'm recovering well, feeling appreciative and thankful to my surgeon and soon I will be ready to rumble again đ
