The Downtown Parade of Lights returns this Saturday, December 17 at 6:30pm in the Armory Park Neighborhood! Presented by Rio Nuevo District, @DowntownTucson Partnership, @trulynolen, and Afni, this year’s event will be bigger than ever, featuring over 1000+ parade participants. Floats in the parade will include Tucson High Marching Band, Ballet Folklorico Tapatio, Old Pueblo Fire, Tucson Comic-Con, Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption, Santa Claus HIMSELF, and many, many more. ✨ Repost: @downtowntucson The route for the Parade of Lights begins at 17th St and Stone Avenue and will make its way (north down Stone) through downtown to Armory Park, ending at 220 S 6th Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to visit local downtown merchants, enjoy dinner, and stroll the light-filled promenades of downtown along the parade route. Additionally, some of Tucson’s top food trucks will be located on 12th Street between 5th Ave and 6th Ave offering a wide variety of dining options throughout the evening.
