A toilet – made for #LifeOnMars! 🚽 🌌 Thinking about human life on #Mars, British artists Ella Good and Nicki Kent a.k.a. @EllaAndNicki kick-started a unique project: @buildingamartianhouse – a real prototype of a house on Mars in collaboration with @hba_london and @pearce_plus. However, what would a Martian #toilet look like and how would it actually work? To find out, they asked our colleague and #research expert Franziska Wülker. After testing several approaches, Franziska finally opted for our paperless SensoWash® shower toilet that allows for maximum comfort and hygiene – even on Mars. For the necessary water, our first-class developer proposed melting a small fraction of Mars’ vast ice reservoirs. For flushing, the plan would be to use gray water from the building’s washbasins and showers.
