Au printemps dernier, le restaurant Slagmolen @restaurantslagmolen a ouvert ses portes après six mois de rénovation. Le nouveau décor de cette Grande Table belge rend hommage au moulin à eau historique où elle se trouvait. Dorénavant Slagmolen est doté de grandes baies vitrées qui permmetent aux invités de s'immerger dans un oasis de verdure. Une installation artistique géante, appelée "Becoming" de l'artiste de la nature Will Beckers raconte l'histoire de Slagmolen: embrasser l'avenir et rendre hommage au passé, tout en restant fidèle à ses valeurs. Le chef Bert et Giel Meewis travaillent main dans la main pour l’avenir de Slagmolen. Avec leur nouvelle cuisine entièrement transparente derrière une façade en verre, les convives sont au spectacle ! . . .
