being comfortable in your skin is so incredibly freeing 🤍 my relationship with my body was complex well before I had any scars to embrace and I spent so long hiding from mirrors, being embarrassed of my naked body... somehow having to embrace the scars on my body helped me embrace every other part too. the softness and the folds, imperfections and everything else. we spend way too long being ashamed of bodies that are simply existing, letting that shame take so much control over our own choices and actions. cliche but life is way too short to let your body stop you from living and wasting so much time overthinking a body that does so much for you. loving my body and embracing it has been the most empowering and freeing thing I could have done for myself, time to start showing yourself a little more love too 🤍
