A little labor + delivery story 📖 it only took 6 hours from the time my water broke to having immediate back to back contractions to me being dilated 10 cm. Then the delivery began. Everyone thought the pushing would be quick because I was laboring at super speed. Nope. After 3 hours of pushing, baby’s heartbeat was dropping. It was so scary. Had to move into an emergency c-section. 40 minutes later from behind a curtain, I hear the little baby coo and everyone congratulating us on a healthy baby girl and I just wept 😭😭😭 the minute they announced her time of life, was the happiest moment I’ve ever felt 🎉🎀🪩 she is a miracle and a true gift from God and I’m so forever grateful for the magic of the universe. This is truly a special kind of love I never felt before our precious Malibu ❤️ my heart feels so full. She is my purpose. My life. My reason for being. This love is so overwhelming I just can’t even believe it’s real ❤️ so so so thankful 🙏🏼🙏🏼 ps Pretty sure I birthed her daddy’s twin 🥹🙏🏼💕 time to go home 🏡 the whole world has changed 🌎 it all feels right 🥲🥲
