Oooohhh it’s out! @therealethancarlson has written beautiful music YET AGAIN with #HerSoundVol3 and asked me to sing solo whaaaa!? This one scared me - I mean they all do (lookin at you too @ryanscottoliver 👀). When I got Ethan’s email of this 18 (!!!) page song for Eve (Revelation) I thought “um Wait ME?” Are we sure??!” But you know what?! Yeah! ME! Why NOT me?!? Get you friends who write songs that are transcendent and then THINK of YOU to sing them and record them and help share the beautiful fricken stories THEY’VE WRITTEN. I knew this one would be challenging and beautiful but also... well I’m in tears because it’s this that I’ve always wanted to be doing .. getting to share my voice - all parts of it - and in a way that’ll always be here- somewhere out there in the musical theater interwebs.
