I’m very proud of the choices I’ve made in my life that brought me to this moment 🖤 I’ve had a roller coaster of emotions this past weekend, but one that I refused to let go of was joy! I have been fearing this ruling for years so it was difficult that it came just as we were boarding a flight to have such an amazing experience. We surrounded ourselves with love and friendship while we found a way to find joy in the darkness. Often the really bad happens at the same time as the really good. Acknowledging the beauty of a moment doesn’t diminish the devastation, it’s just complex.
