If you haven’t already been, the lovely @amelia_p_photography is currently running her @darn_studio pop up on the island at Porthmeor. Amongst locally made goodies, workshops, feasts and dance parties - there are a bunch of postcards for sale, all donated by local photographers, with the proceeds going towards @surfersagainstsewage. These images are my contribution. Last summer I took some time to myself, I needed the calm, I needed the quiet. I stomped my way across some of the south west coast paths best bits, in the fragrant heat of a few summers days. These moments of peace, and quiet landscapes, far away from the hum of busy summer towns are reminiscent of time passed. I wanted them to remind you of that ancient postcard on your nans fridge, bleached from the sun and completely oversaturated, a holiday living on amongst the magnets and childhood sketches.
