The Rising is out NOW !!️🧡 I first came on to direct eps 1&2 in Oct 2020 so it’s been a long road getting here! Charlotte’s original script was dynamite and collectively we’ve been ambitious and put a lot of thought into how to push the genre forward and do something bold and enjoyable to watch but also with heart and social conscience. This is Neve’s story, her justice, her spirit and @clararugaard embodies her with amazing skill and authenticity. The whole cast are a special group and I’m particularly proud of the new talent we trusted who showed how good they are. I also want to send huge gratitude to all the heads of departments and their teams who all helped create such a well crafted and cinematic show. From scripting and casting, prep and design, the incredibly tough but enjoyable shoot, and all the brilliant work in post. Thanks to Sky too for always backing us to be bold and ambitious.
