hi ! my workshop '(un)building listenings'' is finally coming to an end... after an initial online phase of 4 months in 2021, the group met (mostly) in person at @darjacir from november of 2021 until last week. the participants, all of which had never made electronic music before, learned how to use audio editing software to create sound pieces and performances. the closing show will be on saturday february 19th at 4pm at @darjacir and will feature malak abdelwahab, ayed arafah, essa grayeb, amani yakob, and elias wakeem. thank you to maya al khaldi and sarouna for being our amazing guests at last saturdays final session!!! and thank you dear emily, aline, samer, lina and everyone at @darjacir for creating the space for this.
