Last week, Anton, his friend, and I were excited to take a jaunt to the Florida Keys. We stayed at a charming little hotel that offered lots of surprises and delights once we arrived: breakfast muffins, kayaks, fishing gear, ping pong, Jenga, cornhole, bikes, hammocks, sunset wine, s’mores... I wasn’t sure if traveling solo with two 11-year-olds would be exhausting, but they’re such a great age and often played together in the pool while I read on the side. They still wanted to hang out with me, too, which I appreciated, and laughed at my dumb jokes (or at least said “lol,” pronounced “lohl”). More photos and intel on Cup of Jo today, link in profile. ❤️
