2 years ago tonight at 8pm Jonathan and I went on our very first date! Little did I know I would be meeting my future husband for the first time! Jonathan and I met on @hinge during the pandemic when dating/meeting people was tough. We were both a little skeptical of dating apps, but now looking back we are so thankful we tried it. God can work in mysterious ways, and apparently that applies to dating apps as well. I knew Jonathan was different when I saw his profile pic(scroll to see ➡️). When I saw he was looking for a girl who loved the Lord, I knew I had to meet him! We talked on the app for a few days and then Jonathan called me like a true gentleman to me to ask me on our first date. (Chivalry is not dead ladies!) On this night 2 years ago, we went to @baldosicecream and walked around and talked, it was a perfect first date. From first moment I saw Jonathan I felt an overwhelming sense of peace that I know came from the Lord. By the end of the date I felt confident that I had just met my future husband. Call me crazy, but they say when you know you know, and I knew. I even texted my best friend @jennalenejackson after the date and told her “Husband 100%”. (Scroll for proof ➡️). Side note: @jennalenejackson and I had come up with code words for if the date was going well or not 😂 Corey and Topanga from Boy Meets World = it was going well. Corey and Mr. Feeny = it’s not going well. As you can see by my answer the date went well. 😂 Anyways, it’s crazy to think how 2 years ago I had never met Jonathan and now he is my husband! Someone can just walk into your life and change it forever in an instant, and I’m so thankful for that special moment 2 years ago tonight. I love you Jonathan. ❤️
