This is one of the most beautiful albums I’ve ever heard in my life. The early home recordings of Sandy Denny, of Fairport Convention fame, which I can only describe as spiritually exquisite. A private world revealed. Just you and Sandy, together and alone. The opening track is her cover of "Blues Run the Game" and it's rapturous. Her voice is the aural equivalent of being alone in a church. Accompanied only by assured finger picking on guitar. A magic document. This double album was produced by @pat_thomas_author_reissues , for whom I already had the highest respect but now must elevate even higher. Wow. Just wow.
