Polo Country. My first introduction to fashion was denim, and American workwear. Doing look books and shoots for Levi’s Vintage Clothing in London in the mid 2000s switched a light on for me because it romanticised clothes that reminded me of things I’d seen in my dads workshop and on factory floors; overalls and chore jackets stylised with oil, grime and grit. Seeing these clothes elevated through photography still inspires me to this day and I’ll always return to this idea - that denim is timeless, always relevant down the ages.
