Sometimes with all of the work I forget to reflect on the good things that happened in the past week. This week in reflection there was so much celebration that happened. Thanks to our robust Pakistani community OKC celebrated its first ever Pakistan Independence Day celebration. TODAY marks the 75th year of Pakistan's Independence from Britain 💚🇵🇰🤍 Citations were presented, but the cultural and regional history the youth gave was absolutely amazing. 💛 Got to celebrate @mynameisjabee for his birthday & album release. I was out well past my bedtime, but Jabee is worth celebrating - for so many reasons. 🥳🎂 I spent some time with Allen and Lia at @commonwealthurbanfarms - its such a calming place for me. 🌻 Went to @plazadistrict for PLAZACON - saw some Ghostbusters and made a stamp out of a potato!? 🥔 I started a new job and on Thursday @kylandurant came in wearing a shirt with my face on it - I always think this is cool! 🤓 Lol On Monday Anissa & I went to the Here & There festival with Quinn Christopherson, Lucy Dacus, and Courtney Barnett. Also, a portion of the ticket sales go to supporting LGBTQ youth.
