Well...mission accomplished. I wanted the world to see a faith-based African-American psychologist on one of the top shows in the world @rhoabravo and God provided the opportunity. I was overjoyed that they captured us in prayer and the world got to see what really happens in counseling (edited of course). The general public knows that I work with couples but my long-time clients know I specialize in children, individuals, and the family unit and love every second of it. I will not comment on personal matters regarding this scene, of course, but will tell you that I enjoyed every second of our interaction and love being a resource to really amazing people! Shout out to every mental health professional, especially those who serve communities of color. I want boys to see a doctor (especially an African-American male) who specializes in mental health because that’s what influenced me that it was possible and necessary.
