Now her bestie is involved... and it has involved gel pens, guys! 🤯😅 Under the siege! 🌊 In a week that throws Black folx into further flux, a week where her friends & family are yet again being asked to park the trauma associated with how colonialism plays out to... let colonialism play out. A week where schools of fish, are regaled with platitudes of sorrow for a woman that saw the universal blessing of old age amidst a time where communities grieve another that resembles their own brother, cousin, son or friend, never to see twenty five. This week, a well placed moment of joy - the unmatched excitement of hearing the not so (😅) mellifluous waves of little Black girls spinning 'cross the playground in unified song. Stark contrast to the now all too familiar chants heard the weekend passed.
