chicken “katsu” curry ramyun inspired by @okonomikitchen best believe I made this as soon as I saw her post cus I do love my katsu curry udons but now with ramen? yo why i never thought of that 😩 Also shout out to Lisa cus why i never sliced my curry cube before adding it in? bruhh no clumps 😩 we love to see it This uses the same base as my katsu curry udon reel but with some shin ramyun instead cause I have like 10+ packets 🤪 ALSO I wrote “katsu” cause the chicken isnt breaded in panko nor did i make it, just airfried some frozen chicken from Aldi 🙆🏽‍♀️ think smart not hard ingredients: 1 shin ramyun packet (or any instead noodles) + around 1/2 tsp of seasoning packet (you can leave out if you don’t want some spice) crispy chicken - or can pan fry some protein like beef, chicken, pork 1 carrot, chopped 1/2 onion, sliced 1 spring onion, sliced 1 curry block - I used s&b golden curry hot 2 cups water 1/2 tsp dashi powder optional - 1/2 tsp soy & 1/2 tsp mirin (I usually add but forgot this time 😗, still tasted bomb tho) -In pot, add oil and fry onions and carrots for 1-2 minutes until softened a bit (might be longer, adjust to preference) -add hot water and dashi powder, bring to boil -add 1/2 tsp of noodle packet seasoning (or all if not spicy seasoning) and noodles -cook around 1-2 minutes or until almost done but still bit hard as they will still cook as u add the curry block -slice curry block and mix into noodles until combined, cooking until noodles are done to liking -top with crispy chicken, spring onions and enjoy #ramenhack #shinramyun #noodles #curryramen #foodie #crispychicken #easyrecipes #noodleworship #ramyun #ramenlover
