I grew up in forests, but not like these. I grew up with beaches, but nothing like what I’ve found here. There’s something almost fairytale-like about the marriage of these environments. Something rugged yet idyllic, overwhelming yet welcoming. I like the places my mind takes me when I’m wandering around in the forest. Being surrounded by a sea of lush, natural goodness is a key to untangling the complexities of the body and the mind. A trail that cuts through a forest is an invitation to delve deeper into something far bigger than we can comprehend.
