Ok, ok, I’m finally getting around to really posting in depth from this season of @cwlegacies. No longer teasing, here is Hope from what we on production called 403, your 407, “Someplace Far Away From All This Violence”. I LOVE westerns, and found out during the interview process that there was going to be one in season 4. I tried to play it cool, but inside I was nerding out. Once I got the story area for the episode (@josemolinatv and @banansroz wrote it) I knew there needed to be a nod to the “Red Sash Gang”, and for me, our Legacies version of that was a red neckerchief with a leather clasp emblazoned with the Mikaelson crest. Thanks to Ross Anderson, our prop designer, he knew exactly the vendor we should use, and we sent the leather off for etching. As for Hope, while in reality she was in the beginning stages of being the Tribrid, Lizzie has already built her up into this bigger demon in her head given all of their history. She was both Calamity Jane towards the end of her infamy while also Annie Oakley at the beginning of hers, not afraid to show her badassery no matter what gender conformity society placed on it.
