I think part of what makes time feel so heavy is how much we expect from it. We want it to heal us, make the hard parts pass quickly, give us our dreams...while ALSO begging it to slow down for the moments we love. Something I’m learning is that life only makes sense in hindsight; we aren’t warned when we’re in the moments we will miss the most. They only become sacred in hindsight. I celebrated my 35th birthday this month and I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions and doing a lot of reflection.
