This wasn’t just a concert. It was 20,000 proud Jews standing together in a world that is becoming more antisemitic every day. We weren’t just singing; we were belting with everything in us for peace, for hope, for a safer and more loving world. We were praying for every soul and family that has been affected during these indescribable years. It was the first time in two years I’ve felt so alive, so proud to be Jewish. It was a reminder of our unity and our strength. It felt like one big family reunion. There isn’t a religion or culture in the world with a love as strong as ours.
Every morning since October 7th, 2023, I’ve turned on Omer Adam the second I woke up. His voice helped me feel hopeful every day since the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. When my feed and inbox was filled with antisemitism and hate, and the streets outside my window were chanting for my death, he made me feel less isolated, reminding me that even in the darkest of times, we still have each other.
There’s so much more I could say, but for now, the most important thing is this: we stick together. We are all we have. Thank you, Omer for healing our souls one song at a time. Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱
