2640.0mi . . . As I opened my eyes and peered under the vestibule all I could see was fog and clouds...not the thing to motivate a person to get moving and pack up. I waited for a bit in hopes the sun would come out and dry my tent but after a bit I cut my losses and packed up anyway. Everyone else had just got up and was hanging out at the picnic table. Not too long after, Colin, Nugget’s husband, showed up in their van right before Nugget rolled in. We all went a half mile up the road and hung out. Colin made breakfast and I drank way to many of Little Spoon’s Fanta stash. Most importantly, Colin brought me a 2L of @fanta to pack out for Canada. It was even Canadian Fanta. Around 11:30, Little Spoon headed out and Nugget, Colin, and I headed for the trail. The hike was beautiful and we made great time. We did about 17 miles and camped at the top of Rock Pass. The views from up there were incredible and the clouds were gorgeous as the sun was going down. We all ate dinner and hung out for a bit before it was time to crash. The stars were cool too so I kept my doors open so I could watch the sky as I went to sleep and wake up to the sunrise.
