There’s no place like [the] home [bar] for the Holidays 🎄🥃 One of our favorite traditions at home is decorating our home bar to be as festive and cozy as possible during the holidays. After our kitchen renovation this year, we sealed up the entry way into kitchen from the bar which left us with a massive, white wall that we’ve put off decorating since May. We figured the holidays would be the perfect time for us to do something with it. I’ve always wanted to paint this room a darker color but was a little hesitant just due to the fact that I use it as a studio and white walls provided a lot of ‘bounce’ for the lights in here which made the room look brighter in photos. Well, we decided to pull the trigger last week and painted this room with @sherwinwilliams ’Naval’ to match the paint on the existing bar/cabinets/shelves. We put up some gold frames for some Charleston landmark prints to match the gold accents of the bar and maintain the gold/navy look. The finishing touch was this cast deer head from @nearanddeer, who we found on @etsy. Gotta love the clean white look and gold antlers to match. As a bonus, we can turn him into Rudolph during the holidays. Now, we’re still looking for names for him, throw your suggestions down below!
