Gird your loins, everyone... Pumpkin-spiced season starts tomorrow! I don’t know about you, but I’m actually rather fond of these days of transition. When the fleeting weather of summer is at odds with the coming chill of autumn. And we’re just stuck in the beautiful crossfire. There’s an exciting level of mystery that’s present during times of transition. There’s no point trying to predict anything, no ability to stop it from happening, and no use in worrying about whatever may come. I love what all the summer season represents; freedom, warmth, life, abundance, joy and happiness. It’s a fun season in which to bask when the world seems at its most liveliest. But I’m also one that believes that there is a summer mindset that can persist through the rest of the seasons. Freedom is not seasonal, joy is not seasonal, warmth isn’t even seasonal. I like the colder months because I like bundling up in warm clothes.
