#CHARTinTivoli • Make sure to catch new site-specific installations by #NannaAbell and @pernillewithmadsen installed at @tivolicph until 25 September ✨🎊 #NannaAbell works primarily with sculpture, often using surprising juxtapositions of materials, planting recognisable elements into contexts where they visibly do not belong. For ‘The Truth of the World’, Abell places grains of wheat inside a classic claw machine. #PernilleWithMadsen, on the other hand, presents a video work entitled ‘Mise-en-scene’ which acts as a filmic investigation inside the indoor playground named Skærsilden at Tivoli. Inspired by the Bauhaus School, Madsen’s moving images explore new aesthetic possibilities that arise from the rich history of filmmaking.
