A gynecologic cancer diagnosis can cause feelings of isolation, but no one should have to navigate it alone. This National Mentoring Day, we encourage our community to check out OCRA’s Woman to Woman (W2W) peer support program. Patients diagnosed with ovarian or another gynecologic cancer are paired with trained mentors who have gone through it themselves. Care is taken to connect patients with mentors who are a good fit based on cancer type, age, language and culture, or other preferences.
