📸 5 MUSTS WHEN TAKING HAIR PICTURES📸 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1️⃣INDIRECT, OUTSIDE LIGHTING: Weather you are in a doorway or outside, you need that good lighting to capture the True Tone of the hair. Just make sure that the sun isn’t directly hitting onto the hair. 2️⃣STOOL: As a Short Stylist, I like bringing out my stool so I can make sure my canvas is just perfect and it also helps the clients not strain their neck or body especially if you are Shorty! 3️⃣ LIGHTS OFF IN THE SALON: There’s nothing worse than taking a picture and you have a big bright spot in the background where the salon lighting is. For me personally, I like to hit the lights off so it can make my hair the main focus of the picture. 4️⃣ CLEAN BACKGROUND: Make sure the hair is the main focus of the picture. You don’t want anything that’s too distracting that will take your eyes off the main focus. 5️⃣ CAMERA & IPHONE: I’m currently obsessed with my new camera especially since it doesn’t over expose the image (feel free to DM me for the Brand I recently got, or IPhone. Just make sure you turn your HDR settings off on the Iphone to make sure it’s capturing the True Tone. ⚡️ Remember: Your shots are your portfolio!!!!
